OUR HISTORY
The Assemblies of God, Nigeria, has a rich and storied history that spans over seven decades. Founded in 1963, our church has grown from a small gathering of believers to a thriving community of faith, with numerous branches across the country. Our early beginnings were marked by an untold zeal for Christ-like living – exemplified in absolute obedience to God’s command and a raw passion for evangelism, discipleship, and community service. Today, we continue to build on this legacy, driven by our commitment to spreading the Gospel and transforming lives.

We believe in the absolute authority of the Holy Bible as content of the inspiration of God, the power of prayer, spirituality in obedience to God’s leadership to His children; and the importance of living out our faith in obedience to God’s word.
